Roshni “Rush” Bhatia

Roshni “Rush” Bhatia is a horror writer-director living in Los Angeles, USA. Growing up in Mumbai, Rush was inspired by filmmakers like James Cameron, Ridley Scott and writers like Richard Matheson and Rod Serling. By the age of 21, while Rush’s shorts were making the rounds at film festivals, she wrote, directed and conceptualized six Bollywood music videos which have garnered millions of views. Her short films gained appreciation at top tier festivals such as Leeds International Film Festival, Morbido Film Fest, etc. Her films have screened at more than 50 festivals and have won awards including Best Director, Best Writing and Best Editing. Rush was also nominated for Best Writer by the Horror Writers Association of America for one of her shorts, Plasmid.
